It's Haaalloweeeeen time!

Disneyland was all decked out for Halloween. I recommend going in October to see it, however not on the week of Utah and some of Arizona's fall breaks. It wasn't crazy summer/holiday crowded, but it was more crowded than our previous three trips in September, February and March. No kidding... every third group was wearing a BYU (going for the Quest T-shirt), Ute, Jazz, or other shirt that hinted they were from Utah. Not to mention our hotel parking lot full of Utah plates. I guess it's the fall break thing to do!

The haunted house was changed to a "Nightmare before Christmas" theme inside and out.

The following pictures are from Goofy's Kitchen. Very fun.

Kaden kept asking for us to buy treats at Disneyland that day (I guess the hotel breakfast donuts weren't enough for him). We told him no, but that night he could have as many treats as he wanted at Goofy's kitchen. This is what he came back with....not to mention the two large glasses of root beer he had. To his credit, he didn't eat it all. (Did I mention he now wears glasses??)

The tower of terror. Hailey is such a thrill seeker. She has her hands up in the air! Look at poor little Dominic's face :) (Notice the BYU shirt on the back row?)
Thank you to my sister in law, Donae! She watched Ella for us on the first day. It was so nice to go at a quick speed and get all of the big rides done together. We met up with my brother and his cute family the next day. We had a great time!

Below are photos from our last day-- we went with Donae up a canyon near Beaumont, Ca. It was a beautiful place to visit, with apple orchards and pumpkin patches. It reminded me of No. California's Apple Hill. We enjoyed some caramel apples and apple pie. Yummy!

Donae and my cute niece Bailey.

*I don't know what our problem was, but we were not in the mood to take pictures at Disneyland (too crowded to wait for the typical spots??) We got one with the whole family (not blog worthy- blurry), and not a single one of the whole group. Lame.

By the way Utah was great, it was fun to see all my sister's and parents-- thank you Thayne for watching the kids! Poor guy even had to give a talk at church. I forgot my camera there, but here is a picture of my sisters and mom (from Maran's blog). I think I had two hours of sleep the night before.
Maran (the baby), Hollie (sis #2), Mom, Me (the oldest and tallest sis- I was even slouching), Kerrie (sis #3)

I didn't know that Kaden was wearing glasses. He looks cute with them. I SOO wish that we could have gone to D-land with you guys. Someday. Thanks for posting the pictures. I wish that I could click on them to enlarge them.

It was so good to see pics of Donae and Bailey. We miss them! And Thanye did a great job on his talk. Zane was home sick that day with Curtis so I was able to listen. Good job Thayne! What a fun trip!

Like how I spelled Thayne as Thanye. Maybe it's because he reminds me so much of Kanye West...

Cute photos of Disneyland. I saw more over at David and Jill's house. Looks like so much fun. I've never been there at Halloween. I didn't know Kaden wears glasses. I guess it runs in the family! He looks cute.

How fun! It's good to see pictures of Sam and Dom too. I bet Allie would love Disneyland with all of the princesses walking around.

Aaahh! We were so close to going with you guys. I wish so badly we could have. I love how Disneyland goes all out with their decorations for the holidays. We'll have to try again next Spring and see if you're up for it then. Kaden is such a handsome boy. I love the glasses on him.
